“Over 25 years and 5 big boats I always struggled to find a complete Shipwright service. This was until Chris Mews from Mews Marine gave me Steve Handley’s phone number at Fremantle Shipwrights.
Steve has a great ability to spot a potential problem before is develops. Two years or so ago while my boat was out of the water he thought my electrolyses system needed checking and suggested we get Neville from Nifty’s Marine Electronics to take a look. And I am so thankful we did. If my boat had gone back in the water for another year or so the potential damage would have been very expensive.
Fremantle Shipwrights give me great value for money. I know from past costs that my anti fowling is not only far superior, but far more less expensive that it was previously. Steve recently saved me Thousands of dollars on a new swim board. I currently have a hatch problems. I rang Steve to ask who to talk to about new ones. We now have an enviable interior and exterior that is so suited to our large family and entertaining our friends. Having lived on the boat for 4 weeks at Christmas time there was nothing I would change and everything worked perfectly. The washing machine was the standout addition for me and the quality of the fit out made us very proud to be entertaining on such a beautiful boat. ( as you are aware i disliked the boat so much I refused to go on it so I now love it!!) Since the fit out interior and exterior we have entertained quite often and the extra space makes all voyages so relaxed and enjoyable. The boat worked magnificently for all the pirates who went to the Abrolhos Islands for ten days and they managed to bring it back without destroying anything!
