Caribbean 40 - Flooding Repairs
/The Fremantle team performed extensive repairs to Caribbean 40 after a flooding accident. Caribbean 40 was leaving the Rottnest Bay, when two rogue waves went over the bow and through the front windscreen, flooding everything! The fallen glass caused excessive damage to the whole fit out. Water flooding entered the engine room and electrics too.
The boat was sent to Fremantle Shipwrights straight away to get these Insurance repairs underway. The team removed the engines and electrics, the fit out and carpets which were completely ruined.
The engines got a complete overhaul and Dyno tuned so they’re good as new! We also replaced the shattered glass screen for a durable moulded fibreglass front - just in case!
